About Urban Calisthenics

At Urban Calisthenics, we're more than a training facility—we're a community united by movement, growth, and shared goals. From your very first session, you'll find yourself surrounded by people who genuinely care about your progress and celebrate your wins alongside you.

We believe the best transformations happen when we train together, push each other forward, and build real connections. That's why we carefully match each member with a membership that fits their lifestyle and aspirations, ensuring you can show up consistently and become part of something bigger.

Whether you're here to master your first pull-up, perfect your form, or simply enjoy moving with like-minded people, you'll find a crew that's got your back every step of the way. Ready to meet the team that makes it all happen? Get to know the faces behind Urban Calisthenics below.

Meet the Team

Ricky

Hey I’mPickle AKA Rick (yes I put it that way round deliberately).

Owner of Resalve and here at Urban Calisthenics. I first discovered my love for Calisthenics during Covid whilst trying to once again banish the demons of addiction. This time, it was a success.

Since then, I have achieved a lot, both in business and in life. Becoming the first ever Regional Calisthenics champion and most importantly, helping countless others to find their love of movement.

I look forward to meeting you, and welcoming you personally to our community.

Megan

Hi, I'm Megan!

I've been into fitness for as long as I can remember. Towards the back end of covid I found calisthenics, and fell in love. Much to my delight I also found a new fitness family! I have several years of coaching experience previously running sessions at Evolution Of Fitness and now at Urban Calisthenics.

Our bodies are made for moving and we should use our free time to exercise this! I'm passionate about teaching and really enjoy sharing my love and knowledge for calisthenics, as I believe we are all capable of incredible things.

Aleksandra

Hi everyone! My name is Aleksandra, but don’t worry, everyone just calls me Ola (because apparently in Polish “Ola” is short for Aleksandra… don’t ask me why, I still don’t know the logic behind it)

After a lifetime (literally) of trying different sports, I finally found the one, calisthenics. Honestly, this sport truly got me hooked. Since March 2024 I’ve been training non-stop, and the progress has been amazing… but I’m still hungry for more!

I can’t really do anything “half-way,” so whenever I commit, it’s 100%

Outside the gym, you might find me doing some pretty “refreshing” stuff, like ice swimming/ plunging. Yes, the colder, the better.

My coldest ice bath was -56c outside.

I’m also a proud LGBTQ+ ambassador and, of course, a crazy cat lady

Don’t be shy, and feel free to chat with me about calisthenics, training, cats, or just weird random things. I’m always up for a good conversation

Let’s have some fun and get stronger together!
